·  We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as Manager Data Remediation working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Head of Traded & Treasury Risk Data and aligned to the Treasury Risk & Wholesale Customer data (GCDU) function, the individual will be responsible for driving Data Management improvements in the Risk processes operating within the Treasury Risk & Wholesale Customer data area, globally.

In this role, you will:

·  Identification of critical data across Traded Risk (both Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk) related process for key reports and on-board them into Collibra (HBIM Data dictionary) globally.
·  Coordinate with regional Traded Risk (both Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk) teams to ensure all the regional processes aligned globally and data governance activities implemented across all regions.
·  Attestation of CDEs annually to make sure they aligned to Data FIM polices.
·  Coordinate and lead Data Governance related activities with Group Data Management team, to make sure the dashboard reflects right data.
·  Working with DQ team, to make sure all the BDEs stitched to DQ controls and dashboards are always accurate.
·  Ensure trusted sources identified and registered for all the traded processes. Co-ordinate this effort with ITSO and Business process owners
·  Reviewing lineage annually to make sure they complained to FIM polices and getting sign-off from all region stakeholders.
·  Ensure Data Management toll gates embedded into Traded Risk (both Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk) related projects to ensure initiatives become data management compliant during the project phase and with the transition into BAU.
·  Ensure DQ reports and MI produced as required by the Business process owners’ requirements.
·  Co-ordination of login, testing and remediation of any issues identified controls breaks.
·  Ensure data quality issue remediations agreed with relevant teams and those tracked as per agreed timelines for issues remediation.
·  Coordinate Data Quality related activities to make sure the dashboard reflects right DQ data score card.
·  Work with transformation, business, upstream and downstream teams to Traded Risk (both Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk) to resolve data quality issues timely and efficiently.
·  Leading a team of business analyst and data quality champions to drive the objective set by the department.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Experience / exposure to Traded Risk (both Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk) business processes.
·  Experience in data management disciplines - Data Governance, Architecture and Quality (issue management and remediation)
·  Extensive track-record of leading multi-disciplined teams to deliver exceptional customer service and value.
·  Have proven ability to deliver change globally across matrix-based organisations.
·  Have excellent communication and social skills.
·  Have experience in delivering in a highly regulated environment.
·  Experience in handling teams
