Business Description
Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to support HR for CMB.
Principal Responsibilities
· Support HR delivery for Core CMB business
· Understands the business and departmental objectives and identifies how HR can drive / support the same
· Uses human capital metrics to support the identification of trends, risks and needs within the business before they escalate and recommend solutions
· Provides proactive HR support on people development, performance and reward management, employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, planning, international assignments, STAs etc. to the business
· Assists the region on managing employees by providing guidance to line management & employees on performance management process and manage performance related issues;Supports the implementation of reward processes
· Acts with courageous integrity and behaves according to HSBC's values during the day to day operations within the team
· Ensures adherence to established policies and procedures, and compliance with all internal controls and
· external regulatory requirements
· Works to streamline established HR operation process to increase efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery
· Reviews established HR policies to align with the changing needs of the support functions
· Supports to conducts disciplinary, grievance, and tribunal actions as required
· Support recruitment for the designated business
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Qualifications/Requirements:
· R elevant HR generalist experience preferred
· Knowledge of HR policies as well as legal and regulatory frameworks in financial services
Education:
· MBA from Tier 1 Business school background preferred (XLRI, TISS)
