We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an AVP Acquisition Product Manager - Loans 

Role Purpose

The role holder will plan, manage, and lead acquisition and product development for the loans products, including full profit and loss responsibility. This includes ensuring all levers (including but not limited to pricing, campaigns, competitor analytics, customer experience and journeys, channel efficiencies and sales funnel management) are optimized to ensure quality acquisition and growth within the HSBC target market. 

Principal Accountabilities: 

Impact on the Business / Function

·  Ensure loans products and services consistently meet customer expectations: 
·  By conducting regular product reviews including benchmarking exercises, competitor and market research, coordinating with internal and external business partners and to ensure loans product and services remain relevant.
·  By understanding the needs of the market to identify opportunities product enhancements
·  By planning, implementing and managing effective and cost-efficient various acquisition programs and ensuring that the optimum synergy is attained via-a-vis various acquisition and channel management programs. Each activity to be reviewed and evaluated by the immediate superior.
·  Monitoring of Quality Accounts and improve Cross Sell to existing customer base in coordination with Risk, Data & Analytics, UWS and the Sales channels

Customers / Stakeholders

·  Pulse of sales channels on campaigns and programs launched
·  Active involvement in the planning, implementation and reviewing of all programs, product and policy enhancements on loans acquisition and portfolio. 
·  Ensure product P&Ls are always within acceptable threshold, campaigns are within approved budgets, cost-per-approved application is adequate for the loans product
Leadership & Teamwork

·  Provide inputs/recommendations on relevant programs / campaigns that will allow us to remain competitive with the industry players
·  Work closely with Distribution, Digital, Underwriting and Operations team on process improvements 
·  Ensure close alignment with local and regional risk on policy changes
·  To participate in the planning and contribute to on-going program enhancements

Operational Effectiveness & Control

·  To implement Group compliance policy locally by containing compliance risk in liaison with the Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources and training, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators.
·  By ensuring that relevant reports are in place and recommendations/insights provided by Retail Product and other stakeholders are acted upon by the support teams
·  To maintain HSBC internal control; standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators 

Information

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

·  At least 2 years experience in the management of financial products whether as an individual contributor or a team member.  Experience in loans and credit cards including the relevant systems utilized by HSBC is preferred
·  Graduate of any business course
·  Proactive and an independent worker with a working knowledge of how to manage processes efficiently
·  Creative thinker with focus on how to streamline processes
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office
·  Fluent in English & Filipino. 

 Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band level than stated above.
