Job description



Purpose of the Job (overall high level summary of the job)

· To provide high level processing and quality service in a highly complex environment to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by effectively managing an operations cum processing team.

· To accurately check all transactions with the expected quality levels.

· To coach the team members and maintain a record of all daily achievements and errors made within the section.

· The jobholder will be required to ensure that all customer instructions are efficiently carried out by the staff and within agreed time frames.

· Money Laundering awareness by both self and team and compliance adherence will play a key role in ensuring the Bank's high standards are maintained at all times.

Check and approve instruction processed by the Processors / Senior Processors as per target productivity and quality standards

Adherence to Compliance & regulatory requirements.

Coach and provide feedback to Processors and senior processors in a constructive manner

Adherence to SLA's

Deputize Associate during his/her absence

- Match the individual productivity and quality levels with center target productivity and quality standards. Achieve minimum productivity levels within 1 month of taking over the job. Being punctual and regular at work.

To be fully aware and comply with the regulatory requirements. Read all manuals and audit reports at regular intervals as instructed by the supervisor.

Provide high quality, error free environment and coach/mentor colleagues accordingly

Processing all transactions accurately received within cut-off times

Ensure smooth running of section and an error free processing environment.

1. High speed and accuracy of complex processing, checking and approving to meet stringent cut-off times and minimize financial loss to the bank

2. Ensure error free processing. Coach and provide feedback accordingly.

4. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced processing environment and supervise the team simultaneously.

q The job holder is responsible for efficient functioning of the ATM section, Which include GL account balancing

q The job holder is accountable to the department manager and is required to deputise in his/her absence in handling the day to day operations of the Section.

q The job holder ensures that the team works within the parameters set down in the BIM and also ensures that other instructions laid down by his superiors, Central Bank and Audit are observed.

q The job holder is responsible for the following sets of functions:

q All Machine GL Account Balancing

q Cash Deposit Processing

q Retained Card Processing

q Customer Service, Dispute handling, Transaction Investigations

q Back-up for UAE switch function
