From setting up a new business to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking team of Relationship Managers and Business Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Relationship Manager, BB.

Principal Responsibilities

Specialist in Treasury (TRY) products for the Transaction Banking (TB) business of Business Banking; support the region in launching a suite of specialist TRY products to provide a comprehensive offering; support and drive sales of TRY products through the sales force and be the centre of expertise for TRY offerings in the region.

Responsibilities:

· Achieve AOP Target for TRY & FEX revenues of the region;
· Support the region in launching a suite of specialist Transaction Banking products like Trade, Hedging Solutions, Receivable Finance et al., with comprehensive offering and to drive sales of TRY products, ensuring adequate penetration and profitability of each customer segment;
· Enhance customer relationship through TRY offerings across various portfolio segments ;
Identify TRY products cross-sell opportunities in NRM portfolio basis weekly transactions;
Ensure ongoing development of sales team skill-set; constantly monitor sales performance on key metrics and employee productivity; and facilitate an environment for sharing best practice and ideas
· Ensure adherence to Group's compliance procedures at all time;
Create awareness and visibility for HSBC Business Banking business as “Best Bank for Small Business”;
Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with Section 4 of the Group Operations FIM ;

Desired profile

Requirements

·  A degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Management
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in handling Corporate Customers (GB/CMB) in frontline sales and experience in selling FX and Treasury products would be useful
·  Strong desire to learn
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
·  Good business acumen
·  Excellent planning and time management skills
·  Attention to details
·  Self-motivated and results oriented
·  Ability to work independently under pressure
·  Strong analytical skills
·  Ability to multi-task and prioritize jobs that are time critical
·  Internet savvy and strong PC literacy skills
