We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Product Owner.

Principal responsibilities
This role will carry out some or all the following activities:
· Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams, and responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of a discrete set of platform services that are used/consumed by other DevOps Teams.
· Accountable for ensuring compliance of the platform services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives.
· Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by teams adhere to the relevant prevailing data standards and data controls.
· Work with the product owner to ensure that work is de-constructed and translated into development activities across teams.
· Work with product owner on the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritisation across teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to agile and Technology Practices.
· Work with product owner in ensuring that all activities performed by Teams adhere to the relevant Service Management Standards, and high data quality exists in Service Management systems of record.
· Work with product owner & team to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the DevOps team.
· Work with product owner & team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams.
· Work with product owner & team to ensure that service levels are maintained and improved.
· Ensure the cost base for the products and services is managed in line with controls applied by the Head of Cloud Service Platform and associated Chief Information Officer (CIO) function.
· Ensure that the product test strategy includes Test automation, Test Data and Environments – including virtual services.
· Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
· Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
· Any Ad Hoc duties as required by Product Owner and Technical Product Management Lead.
Requirements
· Experience with product development and deployment activities including identifying opportunities and developing business cases, defining product requirements, engaging with Platform Architects and Technical Leads to agree backlog prioritisation, deployment approach, project execution, launch, and post launch performance measurement and management.
· Experience as Scrum Master and/or Project Manager.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrable resilience and ‘can-do’ attitude.
What additional skills will be good to have?
· Experience of Cloud Product Management a plus.
· Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Ali Cloud, or IKP a plus.
· Knowledge of KONG API Management a plus.
· Aptitude to learn and quickly pick up new ideas
· Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and being outside your comfort zone.
· Proactive and willing to lead initiatives for improvement and to resolve issues.
· Data driven analytical approach to problem solving, looking to understand underlying causes and recommend solutions to address.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
