Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution. Its global teams manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate, Prime Finance Operations .

Principal responsibilities
·  Provide support to the Prime Finance and Delta One businesses, covering Equities and market access products
·  Liaise with the Prime sales and trading business around the globe regarding trade queries, settlements, valuation reports and exception management
·  Responsible for monitoring reconciliations to identify and resolve exceptions, working closely with Prime Trading, Sales and Client Services and Technology
·  Ensure accurate and event monitoring for equity swap products
·  Pro actively monitor and mitigate operational risk, improving the control framework where possible
·  Support the business to help develop and implement new products and onboard new clients
·  Enhance and assist with the development of Prime Finance systems, procedures and processes required to provide clients with a smooth and efficient operational experience

Desired profile

Requirements
·  Experience in global banking. Prime or Delta One background is preferred
·  Ability to work effectively under pressure
·  Self motivated and able to work independently
·  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·  Good communication skills
·  Good risk and control awareness, able to proactively strengthen existing controls and identify potential gaps
·  Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
