We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Software Engineering Specialist .
Business: Cross Product Tech
Principal responsibilities
· Deliver code to production as part of the team.
· Act as a technical lead and mentor of more junior developers.
· Propose solutions to difficult problems.
Requirements
· Technical Leadership: Set and drive the technical vision for our platform architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and business alignment.
· Platform Ownership: Oversee the development and evolution of core sales systems ensuring they meet performance and compliance standards.
· Organizational Impact: Lead and influence departmental change, introducing best practices in engineering, DevOps, and agile delivery to uplift team capabilities and product velocity.
· Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior stakeholders, product owners, and global tech leads to define roadmaps, prioritize investments, and deliver complex solutions across teams.
· Mentorship & Coaching: Grow other devs to be tech expert, here we are talking about not only devs in the immediate team, but also cross teams inside or outside the department.
· Agile & DevOps Maturity: Champion DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies across multiple squads.
· Proven experience in senior engineering leadership roles, ideally within the banking or fintech domain.
· Deep expertise in modern technology stacks, including Java, React, HTML, and any other more languages.
· Advanced understanding of FX, money market operations, and financial systems.
· Demonstrated experience leading platform strategy and organizational transformation. Continue improving things and have artificial intelligence project experiences and technical vision.
· Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and take risks when required.
· Fluent in English (written and verbal), capable of operating in a global matrix environment.
