Job description

The Client Services team at AMIN is vested with the responsibility to handle client servicing at branches, distribution desk, contact center, transfer agency and banking and payments.

The role of the incumbment includes acceptance and time-stamping of financial and non-financial transactions, ensuring that all transactions are duly forwarded to the Registrar and Transfer Agency for processing, banking of high value cheques for liquid schemes, reporting subscriptions / redemptions / switches to the head office, handling customer queries and complaints and escalating complex customer grievances/queries to the concerned team. He/she is also expected to actively liaise with distributors and service the key distributors for the location. Another important aspect of the role includes servicing institutional clients to ensure seamless processing of transactions and service requests

Other responsibilties :

• To ensure timely and error free reporting of transactions received at the ISC.

• Manage customer communication effectively in order to have timely resolution

• Explore and suggest cost saving initiatives and contribute to achieve customer delight

• Excel in distribution services & investor services with special focus on corporate customers

• Have close interface with service providers and highlight any discrepancies of gaps noticed on a timely manner

• Comply with applicable regulatory requirements on qualifications required for the job profile

• Contribute to the knowledge management initiative of the customer service team.

• Contribution to recruitments / contingency / leave planning

• Ensure compliance to the process manual and FIM

• Excel in the monthly reporting process

Desired profile

• A good understanding of mutual fund/security markets

• Good verbal and written communication, team and interpersonal skills

• The inclination to work in a client facing role, with a bent of mind for ‘service'

• Ideally a post graduate with 2 plus years of experience in a client-facing role involving Service, Query Handling

• Candidates who do not meet the experience / educational qualifications but have a passion for service can also apply

- Local language would be preferred.
