We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Funds and Discretionary Services.
Principal Responsibilities
· Collaborating with Line Manager for providing constructive feedback on team performance
· Manage and supervise a team of fund operation staff to provide operational support and services for fund end to end processing
· Assist the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
· Good planning and managing projects aimed at achieving system enhancement/new product launched
· Manage the day-to-day operations to ensure the accuracy for maintaining high standard of customer service delivery
· Monitor reconciliation breaks to ensure no discrepancy of booking
· Recommend improvement of the operations workflow for process streamline and effectiveness
· Monitor and ensure orders are delivered to Fund Houses/Transfer Agents before cut off time
· Review and monitor performance of team members via the group email boxes to ensure appropriate handling of customer inquiries and processing of instructions
· Prepare investigation reports including operational incident report for management review and approval
· Handle customer complaint and perform investigation to identify the root cause with prompt service recovery
· Monitor workflow of team members to ensure resources are allocated appropriately
· Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their operations knowledge and competency
Requirements
· Excellent knowledge of the fund market and banking products across all related asset classes
· Solid experience in order execution, settlement, corporate action and funds operations
· Experience on handling of AML/KYC/DDQ with Fund House/custodian, review distribution agreement
· Familiar with the securities market and banking practice
· Strong numerical skills
· Good problem solving skills
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Good interpersonal relationships and communication skills with proficiency in English and Chinese
