We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role o f Assistant Vice President - Business Analyst 

Principal responsibilities  

·  Influencing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
·  Driving project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risks
·  Reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or programme leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making, in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
·  Driving the adoption of HSBC project standards and working in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all times
·  Designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organisation alignment).
·  Identifying and mitigating key change and implementation risks and helping identify opportunities for early realisation of benefits.
·  Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product', focusing on accelerating benefits and minimising risk during deployment.
·  Work with Change Delivery colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure robust documentation of MI change requirements.
·  Contribute to the creation of project documentation (business cases, project requirements, project plans) and reporting and operating modelsgovernance structures.
·  Management of the core test phases including SIT and UAT and ensuring test scripts/test plans and test strategies are in place.

Requirements

·  Project management office experience on status, issues, risk and dependencies reporting
·  Subject matter expertise / strong knowledge of financial accounting, management information / management accounting processes.
·  Experience of core HSBC Finance tools (e.g. TM1, Saracen, etc.)
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams).
·  Strong desire and proven ability to comprehend complexities, opportunities and solutions offered by systems and various digital tools.
·  Proficiency and/or strong desire to learn, adopt and train people on new technologies (Cloud, Python, Big Query, SQL, Qlik / visualisation tools and the like)
·  Knowledge and experience of Agile delivery methodology.
·  Qualified accountant (all designations).
·  Qualified project manager, business analysis, process improvement professional.
·  Knowledge of IT processes.
