We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Underwriting Tele Consultant - HSBC Life.  

Principal Responsibilities

·  Conduct Tele interview and underwriting of insurance application with customer via phone and digital channels
·  Perform the underwriting assessment and support the Underwriting decision for Life and Health applications based on customer interview
·  Support customers during onboarding journey including but not limited to providing guidance to customer completing medical / health questions, obtaining medical reports, addressing customer concerns with a customer centricity mindset
·  Provide Insurance technical support for sales team regarding customer enquires
·  Ensure to perform underwriting assessment and decision in accordance with procedures and service standard for new applications in professional manner
·  Ensure the Virtual Underwriting team efficiency and accuracy
·  Regularly review the administration procedures within the section to ensure all activities are processed in the most effective means and remain most effective at all times
·  Support on launching and expanding the Virtual Underwriting capability including designing and maintaining service levels, scripts, procedures and training
·  Make recommendation and support on process and system optimization to give good customer journey

Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree
·  Solid years’ experience in Customer service / facing roles with strong customer centricity mindset
·  Underwriting experience in life insurance and with medical underwriting authority will be added as advantage
·  Good writing / speaking skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
·  Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
·  Strong analytical and problem solving ability
·  Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to prioritize with limited guidance
·  Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate / Nursing experience will be added as advantage
