We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Assistant Proposition Manager

The role is based within the Customer Propositions/Current Account team within Banking and Propositions, part of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) business and is based at the HSBC UK bank headquarters in Birmingham.

The role of the Assistant Proposition Manager is to manage the existing customer current account portfolio to engage and retain customers. This will involve managing the development and implementation of initiatives for personal current accounts customers within the HSBC UK entity, including short, medium and long term deliverables which will drive change to customer journeys, communications and processes over the customer lifecycle, to deliver improvements for our customers and people.

Your responsibilities will include:

Identification and implementation of customer journey, communication and process improvements through the existing customer lifecycle, to drive engagement and retention of our existing customer base.

Work across all customer channels (digital, contact centre and branch) to ensure the engagement and retention strategy is fully optimised.

Work with colleagues and key stakeholders including Marketing, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Distribution and UKCC through sustained role model behaviours, to deliver the above and to ensure enhancements are fit for purpose from commercial, customer experience and regulatory perspectives.

Ability to manage numerous work streams simultaneously and to be flexible in supporting changing business needs.

Experience of managing budgets and ability to utilise KPI reporting models.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

· 
Past working experience in a relevant role, e.g. customer facing, product development, portfolio management, marketing; with retail banking experience preferred.

· 
Proven experience of managing the delivery of excellent customer service and innovative ways to improve the experience delivered to customers.

· 
Worked collaboratively and supportively with other colleagues, including under times of pressure.

· 
A successful track record of managing significant and complex business programmes, overcoming challenges to consistently meet/exceed objectives.

· 
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and self motivation.

The base location for this role is Birmingham .
