We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HTS – Service Delivery – Payments team for an Assistant Manager position
 
BRIEF OF DEPARTMENT
 
HSBC is now one of the major players in the PCM business in the Indian market. Competition to HSBC exists in the form of established foreign players, private banks who have a large branch network and nationalised banks where the degree of sophistication varies considerably. Service Delivery Operations has over the past few years put in place robust procedures and controls besides expanding to cover new product delivery streams.
 
The Payments units are involved in delivering seamless delivery of transaction banking for INM’s cash management customers. This involves electronic payments such as RTGS, NEFT, Tax payments, COS, NECS, ACH, Capital market ops, Dividend deals, Payable Finance.
 
Principal Responsibilities
 
·    The incumbent would be part of the Payments team handling Electronic payments.
·    Ensure day to day processes are run as per defined process notes and policies.
·    Ensure adherence/compliance to regulatory recommendations.
·    Maintain HSBC internal control standards; ensure the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
·    Understanding various systems and keeping abreast of the new amendments / developments.
·    Ensuring that complaints are at the bare minimum on the operational front.
·    He / She should be able to handle and cope up with increasing volumes 

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements:
 
·         He / She should have good written and verbal communication skills.
·         Should have knowledge of MS office.
·         Graduate
·         Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
 
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
 
·         Knowledge of various system used in the Bank like HUB/HFE/BDC.
·         Knowledge of MS office
·         Strong Interpersonal Skills
·         Good Written and verbal communication skills.
·         Broad awareness of bank’s procedures and policies is essential.
·         Good team player as the job will require close co-ordination with other departments.
·         Having an eye for detail and ensuring process flows are followed diligently.
