We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager Merchant Partnerships.

Principal Responsibilities
· The purpose of the job is to support the merchant acquisition strategy to support the card business, in driving card usage and to retain loyalty among cardholders.
· He/she is also responsible for integrated marketing programs using advertising & promotions, direct marketing, online marketing, in-branch merchandising and working closely with all sales channels to establish value proposition for the credit card.
· Jobholder is also responsible for new merchant acquisition (SmartPrivileges offers) and enhancing the card features and keeping abreast of the new development in the market.
· Support IPP business by acquiring and managing partnership with key merchants, primarily from electronics, grooming, IT, furniture categories.
· Assist with partnership deals with insurance and telco to facilitate recurring billing.
· The role holder will need to find a differentiation in our offering to merchants through his level of service to the merchants, his ability to provide value added services and to win merchants' trust.
· The incumbent also needs to develop new channels looking into processes, and where possible simplifying them for enhance customer journey.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  Minimum 3-4 years working experience in consumer products line, may not be limited to card industry alone.
·  University degree in any discipline.
·  Evidence of strong analytical capability to identify opportunities to grow the card business & drive incremental usage and partnerships.
·  Incumbent needs to have ability to drive incremental usage through understanding of merchant's business and proposing partship proposals.
·  Incumbent also needs to develop existing merchant partnerships . Incumbent needs to have keen appreciation of spend trends and customer habit via internal and external data to develop compelling campaigns.
·  Evidence of strong business decision making & have good planning & organisation skills.
