We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Assistant Manager, Investment Service - Structured Products & Fixed Income working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
Principal Responsibilities:
· The jobholder is responsible to support both the conventional and shariah compliant Structured Investment products and bond/sukuk products in terms of documentation and reporting in order to adhere to the product regulatory & internal compliance requirement towards achieving the Bank sales & NFI targets.
· The jobholder also needs to assist in coordinating the investment product trainings & provide guidance to sales force.
· The jobholder also holds a role to support the investment communication in informing the branches on a timely manner on the market & economic performances.
· The jobholder will need to maintain & ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors & external regulators.
· Also awareness of compliance requirements & implementation of Group Compliance Policy, operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation & control, loss identification & reporting in accordance with Section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM.
Requirements
· Has experienced in structuring a structured products or involved in selling of derivatives products.
· Strong numerate and analytical skills.
· Excellent communicator both written and orally and able to influence others whilst maintaining excellent interpersonal relationship.
· Detailed oriented and able to take initiative, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple assignments.
Due to local laws and governance, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
