In Wealth and Personal Banking , we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. Retail Banking plays a crucial role in executing the Wealth and Personal Banking strategy, providing strategic advice, frameworks and guidance to markets, that ensure all customer journeys, products and services are sustainable, inclusive and built with customers at the heart. Retail Banking brings together a united retail business, made up of the following global teams: Segments, Retail Products, Shared Services Contact Centre, Distribution and Enablers spanning Customer Experience, Marketing, Data and Analytics, Business Architecture, Sustainability and Inclusion for Wealth and Personal Banking
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager, FX Specialist.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Contribute to WPB’s FX and DCI revenue
· Maintain high customer retention rate for FX and DCI
· Contribute to the sales management process of FX and DCI
· To increase customers’ engagement by conducting sales call via phone
· Manage branches’ queries and issues relating the FX and DCI i.e. market update.
· Engage customers on FX and DCI opportunities
· To perform DCI rollover and first party FX transactions.
· To train, coach and guide sales staff in cash FX and DCI
· To conduct regular updates to sales staff via teleconference or face to face
· To support the branches to achieve sales target
· To engage sales staff & branch management to increase FX and DCI transactions
· Operational risk accountability
· Ensure delivery of consistent and high standard of product and services through active interface with GM and WPB sales team
· Maintain HSBC internal control standard and observe Group Compliance policy
Requirements
· A degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Management
· IPPC license is compulsory
· A minimum of 2-5 years of FX & Dual Currency Investment sales & rollover experience would be an advantage
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Excellent planning and time management skills
· Attention to details.
· Self motivated and results oriented
· Ability to work independently under pressure
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to multi task and priortise jobs that are time critical
· Internet savvy and strong PC literacy skills
