We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager Corporate Actions .
Principal Responsibilies:
Plan, manage and control the Corporate Action and Income Team through efficient management of service delivery, staff efficiency and morale, workflows and procedural adherence. Assistant Manager Corporate Actions is also required to keep abreast of latest market development to ensure fulfillment of clients' requirement and agreed service standards.
Responsibilities:
· Accountable and responsible for all corporate actions and income processing by ensuring that work volumes are effectively managed with the resources available.
· The jobholder is also required to ensure maximum effectiveness of our collaboration with other related market players/counterparts.
· Strengthen relationships between CNC and clients by providing proactive service management, formulating solutions to meet clients' needs and providing professional advice on securities related matters.
· By identifying training needs and other development needs appropriate to each staff and guiding/counseling staff when necessary.
· Keeps abreast of market developments and opportunities by maintaining regular contact within the local securities industry to be in a position to provide customers with the latest market news.
· Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with Section 4 of the Group Operations FIM
· The incumbent is to ensure strict compliance to guidelines specified in FIM, rules and regulations issued by BNM, Association of Banks and other regulatory/authorities.
· Adherence to all Management directives and procedure manuals are expected.
· Accountable and responsible for all cash payment transaction processing, including foreign exchange/repatriation and the overall management of CDS and vault operations, by ensuring that work volumes are effectively managed with the resources available, on a timely manner.
· Maintain and observe all Group control and compliance standards including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
· Keep abreast with market developments, industry practices and regulatory requirements to ensure operations are in compliance with the requirements.
· Proactively offer practicable solutions to possible operational issues relating to cash, FX, CDS and vault management.
· Inculcate a enhanced service culture within the Service Delivery section for both internal and external clients

Qualifications :
Requirements:
· At least with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
· High standard of leadership qualities are essential to ensure a motivated team ;
· Strong and effective interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition;
· Knowledge of various PC applications including Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
· Strong in both written and verbal communication;
· Excellent planning/organisation skills, good time-management and has strong follow-through abilities and attention to details.
