We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain the integrity accuracy of policy accounting records. Ensure accounting practice in comply with both local and IFRS accounting policy.
• Ensure the financial records are in consistent with business information stored in the business system and investment system.
• Complete all the policy accounting data/transaction input into the investment system and the accounting treatment according to the accounting policy;
• Provide oversight on all technical accounting (insurance policy related) development and ensure the company is taking appropriate steps to follow the required changes.
• Update or design the procedure and the accounting policy (insurance policy related) when new system/new branch/new product launched and new project set up.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Ensure data and business requirements related to Finance are captured, utilized and fully tested
- manage the change and implementation activities such as training and communications.
- collaborate with Finance and IT for production issue and data fixing
- Good handling of policy accounting, system maintenances, and participate in finance relevant governance , product testing and launch process.
- support on any ad hoc data patch, defect fixing and report request.
- Ensure all work undertaken complies with HSBC policies, procedures and work practices
- Ensure that all the deliveries provided to key stakeholders by deadlines
