We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Actuarial Manager .
Principal Responsibilities
· Medical Product Pricing & Analysis
· Conduct pricing analysis for medical insurance products, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
· Assist in developing pricing models and methodologies based on actuarial principles and market trends
· Support the development of premium rate structures, risk assessments, and underwriting guidelines
· Support to refine assumptions for medical claims, utilization trends, and product performance
· Monitor and analyze healthcare cost trends, regulatory changes, and competitor pricing strategies
· Support in Medical Product Valuation & Reserving
· Assist in reserving calculations and financial modeling for insurance liabilities, including IBNR reserves
· Support in data validation, assumption setting, and stress testing related to valuation
· Help in preparing regulatory reports and ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting requirements
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related equivalent
· 3–5 years of experience in insurance product pricing, actuarial support, or risk analysis
· Exposure to medical insurance pricing and healthcare cost analysis is preferred
· Basic understanding of general insurance reserving, financial modeling, and regulatory reporting is a plus
· Strong proficiency in Excel, actuarial software, and data analytics tools
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
