We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
Asset Liability & Capital Management Senior Manage r
Reporting Operations Americas (ROA) is stablished as the service provider for all liquidity reporting need for HSBC US. This encompasses the daily, mont.ly production of all returns than enable the liquidity monitoring, implementation of the liquidity framework, the adoption of global processes, the enhancement of controls and checks, and the development of reviews and analyses across all returns.
The role will have functional reporting line into the ROA head based in Mexico. The roll will be required to support key stakeholders based in US.

The selected candidate will be responsible for processing, analyzing and validating financial and management data for liquidity reporting and leading the group of analyst that produce the reports.
· The role is responsible for timely submission of accurate and GL-reconciled liquidity and funding reporting to key stakeholders and / regulators.
· Communicate to stakeholders the analysis and / observation of anomalies on liquidity reporting
· Support management to provide initial analysis of variances and drivers primarily to Partnering & Insight, Modelling and Governance & Control.
· Respond to regular and ad hoc data and report requests from key finance and non-finance customers.
· Ensure all work undertaken complies with HSBC policies, procedures and work practices.
· Execute the enhanced IRR control monitoring for all liquidity reporting
· Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Governance and Committee Memberships
The role holder may be required to participate in various regional, country and global Treasury related forums.
Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders
· Regional Treasury, in-country Treasury teams, Group Treasury, Global Treasury project teams and various operations teams
· Other finance and risk management professionals.
· Regulators, internal and external auditors, and Internal Finance Control Teams
· Work effectively in a collaborative, team environment with change teams, and other finance and risk management professionals.
· Willing to challenge the status quo, be proactive and innovative in driving change
· Adherence to Group policies, audit, controls, regulatory and compliance requirements including but not limited to Declaration of secrecy, data protection act, health, safety and security, clear desk policy
Requirements
· Strong written and oral communicate skills English
· Banks Liquidity reporting understanding. US regulation knowledge preferable.
· Ability to communicate complex ideas (e.g. relating to transactions/adoption of policies) in a simple manner to a global audience
· Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 2-5 years proven and progressive financial services or banking experience, with a background in finance, economics, and/or statistics/mathematics, or with an engineering background but have a strong interest in Finance
· Enrolment in one of the CPA or CFA programs would be an asset
· Strong technical Microsoft Access and Excel skills (keyboard navigation, macros / VBA programming) and be familiar working with large datasets
· Ability to multi-task to ensure compliance with strict deadlines
· Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations and be able to understand issues quickly
· Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented
· Good knowledge of balance sheet, banking and financial products (specifically treasury products) and how they impact finance operations and more generically the banking business
· Good knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM), regulatory reporting and the relevant changes in a global environment would be an added advantage
