Job Duties:
The responsibilities include activities described in the software project lifecycle. This would entail areas such as
· Design: Develop / review the technical design.
· Coding: Analyze and develop code as per specifications.
· Reviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan and test results
· Testing: Prepare unit / system test plans, conduct unit testing and system integration testing.
· Support: Provide post development support.
· Customer delight: Ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded under all circumstances. This would imply the following:
· Shouldering responsibility diligently and delivering quality output within the defined schedule and service levels
· Understanding the client's requirement and translating it to the project team

· Day to day maintenance and support of the application
· Provide support documentation
· Provide Quantitative Analysis on all work products

Technical Skills and Soft Skills

· Technical capability: Continuously upgrading and learning various tools and technologies required for successful project delivery through continuous learning.

· Expert in AS400， RPGLE，CL, COBOL, DB2 and SQL on iSeries
· Knowledge of Core Banking, Interfaces, Payment, etc. is preferred
· Familiar with MQ, Connect: Direct, sFTP, etc.
· Knowledge of rational tools like RTC, RDi, sonarqube and smartbear would be an advantage

· At least 1.5-3 years' of experience in IT with solid knowledge on application development and support
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
· Experience in Finance and Banking industry would be an advantage
· Familiarity with SDLC, AGILE, DEVOPS principles, free format coding would be an advantage
· Work under pressure, willing to work beyond standard working hours when there is a demand.
· Open mindset and adaptability to change, positive attitude and logical thinking
· Ability to work independently under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
· Should be a team player; ability to multi-task, good inter-personal skills, ability to troubleshoot & testing skills. Should be organized and self-starter.

Qualifications :

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA -

1. All applicants must have successfully completed 12 months in current role/Project/Department.
2. Applicant should not be on a corrective action plan/ disciplinary action in the last 6 months or any other performance action as on the date of application.
3. All applicants should inform their respective Line Managers of their application.
4.
