Delivering high-quality research and analysis to investors around the world, the Global Research team covers economics, currencies, equities, fixed income and climate change to help our clients best navigate and make sense of turbulent global financial markets. Global Research offers fundamental, cross-asset, technical and quantitative analysis presented through multiple platforms and formats.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Analyst, Global Banking and Markets .

Principal responsibilities
· The role will support the Head of Research in Singapore in sector coverage and the writing of thematic research.
· The candidate will maintain models, attend company earnings presentations, draft reports, handle client requests, speak to company investor relations and management teams, and engage with the equity investor base.
· In depth analysis of financial statements, with thorough analysis in accounting procedures
· Putting a framework in place around unstructured data and translating a particular investment view into numbers.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  A good number of years in Banking, preferably Global Markets Equity Research
·  It will also require a mature understanding of business models, financial forecasting and a critical eye for industry competitive forces
·  The position will require strong writing skills and an ability to communicate effectively
·  This role will require a very fast rate of production in an often resource limited environment
·  Time efficient and able to meet deadlines
