We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Manager Institutional Client Group .
Principal responsibilities
· Act as a single point of contact for onboarding, renewal and offboarding activities across the Client Management Group
· Work closely with GBM Relationship Managers and onboarding functional teams such as Credit, KYC Services, Client documentation to ensure priorities are aligned and business requirements are met
· Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and practices, report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events to mitigate risk of prosecution
· Able to highlight problems, blockages and suggest ideas to improve processes
· Carry out necessary regulatory review in line with local regulations and as directed by Compliance and Policy implementation
· Support policy implementation and roll out of procedure or policy changes
· Assist in production and analysis of MI on ad hoc basis as required

Requirements
· Experience in client facing within financial services industry preferably with knowledge in banking and market products
· Strong business knowledge and understanding of onboarding process and regulatory requirements
· Proven business and operational experience with sound knowledge of a wide range of fund and corporate structures
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle conflict and manage expectations
· Able to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision
· Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and the use of Internet Search Engines
· KYC background, AML qualification or post graduate Compliance degree is an advantage
