Description

Looking for Infrastructure experience and Performance Testing expertise in Virtualization, Windows/Linux, Cloud and Storage. Preferably around 2 to 3 years of experience on server administrator with designing, developing and documenting solutions.

Responsibilities

·  Candidate will be responsible for handling the engineering activities on ProLiant(x86) servers
·   Responsible for technical documentation
·   Applies a breadth of knowledge to work with engineers inside of HPE to design and build virtualization and database solutions.
·   Adept in creation and execution of performance testing on x86 servers
·   Quickly learns and correctly applies new technologies to offerings
·   Applies a breadth of knowledge to work with engineers across multiple geographies
·   Project based inventory management

Must Have Skills

·  Strong background (minimum 1.5 years) in system administration with Windows and
·  Linux Systems (Ubuntu, Centos, Red hat and SUSE)
·  Experience in Server Performance Testing and test documentation
·  Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), file systems NTFS, EXT3 etc
·  Good understanding on the x86 server architecture
·  Good knowledge on AD/DHCP and DNS.
·  Knowledge in Cloud offering such as Hybrid IaaS Paas and SaaS from Azure or AWS preferably both
·  Good scripting knowledge in Python/PERL and PowerShell
·  Knowledge of firewalls, data encryption, endpoint security solutions and data loss prevention, disaster recovery, etc.
·  Knowledge on Advanced Virtualization solutions
·  Server Virtualization (HyperV/ESXi)
·  Storage Virtualization (VSAN)
·  Database Systems Fundamentals (MS SQL Server)
·  Understanding of Storage SAN , NAS, Flash, Raid, Mirroring, block based and file based
·  Storage.
·  Understanding of TCP/IP and networking terminologies NAT, Route, VPN.
·  Ability to work in a very complex data center infrastructure environment both as a team
·  Documentation of project artifacts
·  Must be a strong communicator, verbal and written, across all levels of the organization as well as cross functionally.

Desired Skills

 Experience with HPE servers (DL380/580/560) & Apollo server (4200/4500).

 Hands-on experience in setting up of Private Cloud/PaaS platforms and support /administration activities especially deploying cloud based web applications with hosting services like AWS, Azure, OpenStack

 Strong knowledge and working experience in Infrastructure orchestration in a Data center environment

Required Education and Experience

BE/B.Tech with 1.5 to 3.5 years
