Associate Technical Marketing Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Marketing Engineer to help
design & implement the technical campus solutions for our HPE Networking organization.
Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting
and debugging networking systems, software and solutions for HPE's
Networking Mobility
First Campus portfolio.  You would be concentrating on the lab
verification of the Mobility First Campus reference architecture and technical
solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio.
 
This is a unique position that combines technical,
marketing and sales responsibilities into one role.  The TME role requires collaboration with the product
line management, product & solutions marketing, competitive intelligence/market
intelligence and sales organizations. 
The TME role provides technical support for the enablement of field
sales in three key areas:
Strategic pre-sales engagement Technical training deliveryField technical communications
 
 What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintain subject matter expertise in Mobility
First Campus NetworkingDevelop technical content for the global sales
organization and business partners: 
Reference architecturesTechnical product guides
Technical solutions
guides Technical configuration
guides Technical customer
presentations Work with competitive intelligence team on
competitive analysisRecord audio and video podcastsConduct technical training sessions for the WW
SA organizationUnderstand all the elements of a technical
solution and articulate to both technical and business decision makersDevelop technical training courses for the NPI
process Assist pre-sales SAs on complex network
designs, strategic account engagements, and writing proposalsDesign and build demonstrations as well as staff
for industry, partner and corporate events Author technical blogs for social media and brief
external bloggersAddress technical field sales questions and
create a resources library

Desired profile

What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's
degree or equivalent industry experienceSelf-starter,
goal oriented and track record of delivering on objectivesAbility
to present technical content to technical audienceTechnical
writing competency Experience
with networking solutions in addition to product knowledgeStrong
