About Our Early Career Vacancies
ITO Early Career (Technical) Programme
Within the HP Early Career Programme, you will be embarking on a structured development programme for 12-24 months. You will need to be qualified to at least degree level (or country equivalent) for the UK PS Public Sector / Project Services or Product Services businesses. It is important that the applicant be willing and able to undergo Security vetting to the required level.
 
 
As a Technical Engineer in HP, you can look forward to advancing your knowledge and career with training on some of the newest and best tools in the market-place.
The Technical Opportunities within this Programme will provide you with the expertise to work for our ITO organization within HP. This area is all about infrastructure (e.g. servers, network, storage), and related services (e.g. Business Continuity). You will be part of a team that provides technical input, solutions, and recommendations to new business deals. You will also be engaged in and provide support for transition/transformation efforts, provide IT infrastructure and/or application infrastructure lifecycle technical support, including planning, project management, installation, on-going management/monitoring/troubleshooting, and de-installation, compliant with industry standards (e.g. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)). Managing the technical/service relationship between HP and the customer, and between HP and subcontractors/vendors. You will be working with some of our key customers and our internal businesses/end user representatives we call them, (Infrastructure Support Managers, Client Manager and the Account Delivery Manager) you will be responsible for helping retain our customers and build the business.

It all begins with an on-boarding course where you’ll get to grips with our business and how you fit into it. As a valued part of the team, we’ll expect you to give your insight and opinion, and make a real contribution to our business.
Throughout this scheme, your training and development won’t stop. You’ll attend sessions designed to hone your soft skills, and you’ll have the support of your line manager, an assigned mentor and a graduate-level buddy. Through ongoing appraisals and feedback processes, you’ll be in charge of driving your own career.
