As an Senior Interaction Designer at HP Software, you will work with a team of highly talented user interaction and visual designers. The ideal candidate has a track record of designing dynamic end-to-end online experiences, a strong bias towards user-centric design, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced and technically driven environment. You will design a web experience which arms our prospects/customers with valuable information to make decisions, helps them understand our products and solutions, simplifies the software buying process, grows application development marketplaces, and fosters communities that offer support, ideas, and thought leadership. This role reports to the Headof UX/UI Design, HP Software. The position offers the unique opportunity to operate in an entrepreneurial environment and to define the strategy, innovation and evolution of our online business.

Key Responsibilities
Define the site architecture, information architecture, end-to-end prospect/customer experience, and the user model and user interface for marketplace and purchase (freemium, trial, subscription) of downloadable software and SaaS offerings.
Work closely with business units across the expansive product portfolio and with an immediate team of product managers, product marketing managers, and web developers to define design and execute.
Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, wireframes, specs, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Consider and leverage available insights including market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings in all design activities.
Desired profile
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field (in lieu of degree, 2-5 years relevant work experience). Preferred Qualifications
MA/MS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field.
HTML, CSS skills and knowledge of JavaScript for rapid prototyping purposes.
Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated experience with design-driven innovation in the Enterprise and/or SaaS space.
Previous work designing an experience targeted at developers and IT professionals.
Strong appetite for a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
