The Printing and Technology
Development (PTD) division in San Diego, CA is looking to host engineering
interns in the 2015 calendar year. We are looking for students across a range
of disciplines including mechanical, electrical, material science, and chemical
engineering. Internships can vary in length and depend on the availability of
the student.
 
HP Inc. is the leader in
Inkjet Technology. We work to maintain this position while adding new
technologies and innovative products to our portfolio. We invent, develop, and
bring to market new technologies and capabilities as well as integrate these
technologies into systems. Our focus is on printing and imaging technologies as
well as pursuing broader alternative technologies and some basic research with
an eye toward commercial applications. We are dedicated to providing advanced
innovative solutions to our partners and customers.
 
You will participate with
other members of our R&D teams to drive new technology development,
implementation, innovation and cost effective next generation printing,
imaging, and MEMS technologies for our partners and customers. We advance
R&D efforts into HP's newest products and provide manufactural, high
quality solutions. In PTD we don't just dream about the future. We make
inventions real.

This is an Internship
opportunity. The successful candidate WILL be currently
pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree and have some or all of the
following qualifications:
Test & Measurement
Instrumentation skills Modeling and Simulation
of Dynamic SystemsHigh Speed Imaging and
Optical SystemsMatlab Scripting Local San Diego or Southern
California Candidates Preferred
Skills:
Actively pursuing
Engineering or Physics degreeGood communication,
collaboration, and writing skills.
