Global Business Services (GBS) is part of the
Global Technology and Business Processes Group. GBS is the multifunctional
shared service organization that enables growth organically and inorganically
for HP while managing risks. GBS processes 100 million transactions every year
covering F&A, Quote to Cash, Supply Chain, HR and Marketing, and delivers
$250 million of P&L savings through process effectiveness. Having a
delivery model operating out of 13 global centers and front offices across 56
countries, GBS has the most engaged workforce for a large team in HP.
 
The Project Manager is a key member of the
overall Account Startup team for outsourcing deals. This is a program
management role, requiring expertise in HP business and commercial processes.
 
The Project Manager has responsibility for
coordinating and managing the implementation of the functions of Account
Business Operations in new or renewal outsourcing deals.  The person will be responsible for the
delivery of the ABO transition program within time, scope, quality and budget,
and the delivery of key business functions to enable a new account to operate
effectively on day 1. These include Standard & Non-standard service request
management, procurement request management, asset management, policies &
procedures manual, & document management, Business Management framework,
Asset Transfer, and invoicing.
 
Job Responsibilities and Tasks :
 
-            Document
and obtain appropriate approvals of ABO Program Transition Plans
-            Alignment
of ABO deliverables with specific contract requirements and to other affected
organizations (GTS, Implementation Teams, etc.)
-            End
to end responsibility for the delivery of ABO startup programs
-            Manage
the expectations and effectively communicate with internal and external
stakeholders
-            Delivery
of the plan to time, budget, quality and scope
-            Control
of the program and status reporting as required
-            Apply
Project Management best practices for the management of each knowledge areas
-            Approximately
50% Travel

Desired profile

Required Skills:
 
-            More
than 3 years’ experience in the IT Outsourcing business plus degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or Electronic
Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
-            More
than 3 years’ experience structuring and managing large and complex (>$50M)
customer engagements in IT Outsourcing.
-            Communication
and negotiation skills across all levels of management (customer and internal)
-            Ability
to work effectively in diverse, foreign and multi-cultural environments.
-            Ability
to cope with peak workloads, short deadlines, and significant pressure.
-            Proven
experience with project management principals and tools (including assessment
management, pricing, project management systems, communication).
-            On
the PMP Certification path
