Position Summary:
HP Financial Services (HPFS) is the leasing and lifecycle asset management services subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, offering a full range of financial services solutions.  With $11.9B in portfolio assets generating $3.4B in revenue HPFS is supported by a team of 60 finance professionals worldwide.  HPFS is seeking a student working on an Accounting/Finance degree who is motivated to learn and gain first level working experience. The position is located in Mexico City to support the financial processes for the local GAAP and US GAAP requirements for the HPFS operations in Mexico.  Also, as part of the HPFS Americas region financial analyst team, other responsibilities to support other country specific priorities/needs outside of Mexico may be assigned as needed.
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Support HPFS Mexico electronic accounting requirements request by SAT authorities:
Define processes to facilitate access to information
Compile information on agreed format.
Ensure adequate review, controls, accuracy and data integrity
Partner with the HPFS BPM team and IT to integrate and automate a final solution
Support audit requirements to ensure on-time audit completion and filings as necessary.

Desired profile

Education and Experience Required:
 
Student in the last year or two years of earning an Accounting/Finance degree
 
Knowledge and Skills Required:
 
Understanding of accounting principles and basic knowledge of Mexico local GAAP
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Strong MS Office application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc).
