Our TS Channel team works with HPE Partners who grow the services business by reselling HP support services portfolio. The role involves obtaining and analyzing data to measure partner’s performance against specific criteria. This involves working with sales professionals and business managers. The Day to Day?
- Working with the team to understand their reporting needs and then building & extracting reports from HP’s systems (training given) and providing these at regular timeframes.
- Creating monthly/quarterly reports for HP partners, providing them renewal and conversion opportunities on their warranties and contracts.
- Managing various projects including the monthly TS Webinars. This would involve:
- Understanding the project brief and objective
- Pulling a team together to work on the Webinar
- Planning and scheduling meetings/calls
- Setting up the conference call and preparing slides for speakers
- Pushing the Webinar to deliver results
- Monitoring and taking ownership for discount requests. Being able to make key decisions based on a set of predefined criteria.
- Keeping management informed by submitting report results, logbook entries, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by taking initiative to broaden your knowledge of current & new HP products/services, online training courses, and establishing personal networks.
- Updating and amending the HP secure Smart Portal page for both internal and external users of HP Smart Portal website.
- Developing strong professional working relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
Desired profile
Specific skills:
- Written and verbal communication skills (email, face to face, writing communications, presentations)
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes, to manipulate data using pivot tables and look ups, create output such as graphs and charts and show data analysis skills.
- As a minimum a good grasp of Microsoft PowerPoint and the ability/ willingness to learn more.
- We are looking for high caliber candidates that are currently studying a business orientated degree at University and are on track for a minimum of a 2:1 grade.
Personal skills that are required include:
- Ability to manage time effectively and the requirements of two roles.
- Project management skills – good candidates will demonstrate the ability to organise themselves and others, be logical and methodical in the way they approach tasks, have a high level of common sense.

- Ability of working on own initiative

Education & Experience:
We are looking for high calibre candidates that are ideally studying a business orientated degree at University and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade. Solid record of past work experience and/or participation in meaningful extra-curricular activities.
