Job Title: Costs Paralegal Department: Costs
Salary: £14,000 Location: Old Trafford
Status: Permanent
Hours: Full time hours are 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7 hours per day working between 8am to 6pm.

The basic purpose of the job (but is not limited to) by undertaking the following duties:
- Producing standard documentation
- Making payments into court
- Chasing court orders and documents
- Chasing cheques from the insurer client
- Undertaking general administration duties
- Directly communicating with third parties in a professional and effective manner
- Any other duties which will assist the Fee Earner
The role will require the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate the following:
- LPC qualification
- 2:2 degree or higher
- Legal/Costs experience preferred
- Excellent telephone manner and computer skills
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven and recent administration experience
- The ability to work under pressure and produce a high, accurate output of work
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively
- Someone who can use their initiative and thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Experience of using Solcase and Microsoft Office Packages
- A keen interest in the Costs Team
