Homerun is an online mortgage broker, aiming to help first-time buyers and those seeking to remortgage get a much more simple and customer friendly experience.

About the role

We're looking for an intern to join us for 6 weeks (possibly more) to lead our online marketing efforts through content generation.

Specifically, the main responsibilities are to:
- Write new blogs to engage our target customers
- Find and interview people to deliver a new blogging series
- Manage our external third party which promotes our content over FB and Twitter
- Explore new ideas for how to engage customers and improve out site/ business

The role would be based in Bank two days a week, with the other days working from home. If you are unable to work full-time we may be able to accommodate part-time working as well.

We will cover your travel expenses and provide a stipend for lunch on the days you come in.
You will be provided with a desk but will need to bring your own laptop.

Desired profile

The must have skills:
- Ability to write short, engaging articles/ blogs
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to research and learn about new areas e.g. mortgages
- Creativity and enthusiasm to share your own ideas
- Drive
- Proven interest or experience in marketing
- Can tell at least one decent joke (preferably more)

The administrative must have's:
- Native or fluent in English
- Based in or near London
- Your own laptop

The nice to have's:
- Interest in start-ups
- Interest in financial services
