The Role

Great opportunity to join our Shrinkage & Compliance team as an Analyst. You will support function objective of maintaining £12.5m stock loss number and provide the key stakeholders (Operational and finance teams) with reporting and analytical support to help make sound commercial decisions. The role will also support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and understanding drivers of overall stock loss.

As a Shrinkage & Compliance Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:

Prepare, deliver and improve a suite of daily, weekly and monthly key reports.
To utilise strong excel and access skills to identify areas of stock loss concern and to run analysis on this to lead to a clear, concise and logical outcome. As well as communicating findings in an easy to understand manner to stakeholders.
Be confident working autonomously, able to prioritise own workload and to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from peers to management.
Support a wide range of analytical requests from differing stakeholders whether financial or operational.
To manage Access Databases processes, keeping stock data accurate and supporting the wider analysis team with any Access Database queries or problems.
Continuously challenge current procedures and processes to find ways to make reporting more efficient, effective and relevant; to allow time for true added value analysis.

As a Shrinkage & Compliance Analyst your skills & experience will ideally include:

Graduate calibre professional with strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate well with stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong Excel, Access and Business Objects skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
A positive can do attitude with the ability to make decisions and think independently, challenging the status quo.
Able to plan, organise and prioritise well, given the variety of, and sometimes conflicting workload.
Self-motivated to work at pace and think independently.
