Summary

A vacancy within an Argos Clearance Store as a Deputy Site Manager you will be reporting to the Clearance Bargains Site Manager.

Directly Managing Clearance Bargains Management and Supervisory Team and indirectly managing: Clearance Bargains Junior Team (c.70+ junior colleagues)

As a Deputy Site Manager, you'll be running the business - focusing on maximising sales, increasing profits, promoting fantastic customer service and looking for opportunities to motivate and encourage your team to deliver processes that are fast, friendly and efficient. To achieve this you'll need to inspire your team, leading and developing them to achieve outstanding results through being passionate, innovative and supportive. The Person

To succeed in this role you will need to have experience of managing a team. You'll be commercially aware with proven control of overheads and increasing sales, and will be able to deliver at pace and respond quickly to changes in direction or approach. You'll be an inspirational leader, developing your team to their full potential and you'll possess a clear and open communication and leadership style.

The successful candidate must be;

Numerate and PC literate possessing Excel, Word and power point skills to a competent standard.

Experienced at management level, with at least 3 year’s experience in retail management.

Experienced in the responsibility for achieving financial targets through others.

Must hold a full, clean driving licence and be prepared to travel to other Clearance Bargains stores and offsite meetings as appropriate.
