Our Urban Hive Madrid hotel will open in January 2026.

The hotel is located in the Palacio district, one of the most historic in the city, close to emblematic places such as the Royal Palace, the Plaza de España and the Teatro Real.

The hotel has 144 rooms, 4 meeting rooms, a fitness center, a karaoke room, a restaurant, a lobby bar and a rooftop with swimming pool & bar offering exceptional views of Madrid.

After the opening of its first establishment in Milan in January 2024, Urban Hive will shine in Madrid, that will be the brand's second destination. Designed as a warm cocoon in the heart of the city, Urban Hive priorises its attention to its customers and teams. In harmony with the Madrid vibes, it energizes the district and its population thanks to its innovative offer in terms of food, drinks and events.

Joining the Urban Hive in Madrid it is joining Hively Hospitality, leader in hospitality and wellness, with 80 establishments in Europe operated under Accor or Marriott franchises, and our own brands such as Thalazur and Urban Hive.

As a GM, you will report to one of our Hively Operations Director and work with the Hively support teams.

You will start in June 2025 to manage your pre-opening and opening missions:

• Preparation of the opening, marketing, recruitment of teams under Spanish contract
• Respect of the Urban Hive brand DNA in terms of services, benefits, team profiles
• Be the guarantor of the Urban Hive customer experience and the Hively Hospitality employee experience
• Once the hotel is open, you supervise and manage all daily operational aspects of the hotel & restaurant, in compliance with the Hively vision, brand requirements and local regulations.
• You are responsible for the quality of service, achieving/exceeding financial objectives and daily operations.
• You establish the hotel budget and the marketing plan.
• You will participate in the development of the brand concept with a next opening planned in Paris at the end of 2026
• As a good manager, you demonstrate your commitment to the company's objectives through work ethics, integrity and respect for our values

Desired profile

Your experience and profile :

• Language : English - Spanish are fluent, and French is a plus!
• Degree in hotel management. At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, ideally with an opening already completed.
• Solid background in hotel management with profitability objectives achieved, while having maintained integrity and professionalism in your role.
• Strong experience in a lifestyle hotel and a great affinity with its codes.
• Leadership, strong ability to work independently, creative and entrepreneurial spirit
• Love of F&B
