What will I be doing?

The Wellness concierge cum Beautician is responsible for: arrival and departure guest services, consultation, retail and gift certificate sales, spa tours, walk-in guest reservations and guest history data entry. They are responsible for receiving all telephone appointment requests, providing hotel and spa information and attending to other administrative duties assigned. In addition, Beautician has a general understanding of beauty and willing to execute beauty treatment offerings unique to Waldorf Astoria Spa. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of guests. Specifically, as Wellness Concierge cum Beautician for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

·  Maintain complete knowledge of:
·  Hours of operation and activities
·  Spa services and products
·  Scheduled daily group activities
·  Process the check-in and checkout administration for all Spa guests, including retail sales, guest forms, and guest history data input.
·  Maintain immaculate presentation standards of the arrival area, including retail areas.
·  Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
·  Oversee the housekeeping and presentation standards of the Reception, Consultation and relaxation areas.
·  Execute guest service protocols for the following Spa areas: 
·  Arrival, Consultation areas, Retail zones and relaxation areas.
·  Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.
·  Provide detailed information for spa treatments, packages, services, facility, features and provide spa tours for
·  prospective guests.
·  Attend to pre- and post-consultation processes and provide treatment orientations.
·  Monitor treatment room turnover to ensure they are prepared for arriving guests.
·  Interpret and action therapist’s retail and re-booking recommendations for guests.
·  Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications
·  Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; protect company assets.
·  Possess ability to work with minimal supervision.
·  Receive and process all Spa property telephone calls, including reservations, general inquiries, call transfers, gift
·  certificate sales.
·  Record messages for unavailable personnel and guests, and forward to the appropriate person.
·  Successfully achieve high call conversion ratio to achieve booking performance targets.
·  Provide knowledgeable assistance to help guide the customer to the aspired spa experience.
·  Provide knowledgeable information about the spa, guest amenities, and hotel facilities.
·  Coordinate a seamless guest journey that will meet the guest’s expectations and deliver high productivity for the Spa.
·  Promote and process gift certificate sales.
·  Process appointment confirmation telephone calls and/or emails.
·  Process appointment follow-up telephone calls and/or emails.
·  Complete reservations administration reports as requested by the Spa Director / Assistant Spa Manager.
·  Attend to miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Spa Director / Assistant Spa Manager.
·  Performing beauty treatments, makeup, facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures.
·  Provide neat, legible guest information records as required for the Waldorf Astoria guest experience protocols.
·  Attend all required meetings and training sessions

·  Previous reception or retail experience in a spa environment.
·  Opera /Spa software handling experience.
·  Strong communication skills.
·  Comprehensive knowledge of Spa and salon services
·  Knowledgeable with multi-cultural service protocols and standards.
·  Excellent guest relations and problem-solving skills.
·  Excellent time management, organizational, communication and motivational skills.
·  Candidate must have a good command of spoken and written English. Fluency in additional language is an advantage.
·  Pays attention to details and have strong customer service skills.
