Job description

The Terrace on 10 Manager organizes and oversees daily operations of Terrace on 10 - the Westerly’s adults-only rooftop retreat - delivering an elevated private‑club experience from sunrise wellness and breakfast buffet through sunset receptions, premium bar service, and evening entertainment. The role is accountable for guest satisfaction, access sales, F&B revenues, profitability, compliance, and brand standards across the venue.

What will I be doing?
As a key leader within the resort’s Food & Beverage division, the Terrace on 10 Manager: 

·        Leads all aspects of the venue’s operation in alignment with Hilton brand standards and The Westerly’s premium positioning.

·        Curates the daily experience cadence of breakfast buffet, day‑lounge service, sunset hors d’oeuvres & signature cocktails, evening entertainment.

·        Optimizes beverage cost and labor cost while sustaining the best-in-class Stay Experience Platform.

·        Partners with Concierge/Front Office, eforea spa, Pool & Beach, and Engineering to deliver seamless, end-to-end guest journeys.

·        Ensures strict compliance with Hilton policies, Aruba labor and health regulations, HACCP/food safety, and responsible service of alcohol.

 Primary Responsibilities

·        Create and manage schedules and staffing plans aligned to occupancy, weather, entertainment, and programming; ensure efficient, profitable service delivery.

·        Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and—when necessary, discipline team members in line with Hilton leadership expectations and local law.

·        Maintain access control standards, partnering with the Concierge (adults‑only eligibility, capacity management, wristband/room validation) and ensure accurate POS posting and reconciliation whenever applicable.

·        Drive bar program excellence (signature & zero‑proof cocktails, wine & spirits curation, pour controls, recipe costing) and partner with Culinary on rotating hors d’oeuvres and breakfast buffet standards (dietary labeling and allergens). ·        Monitor and control beverage and labor costs; manage budgets and forecasts.

·        Evaluate guest feedback and competitive trends; implement action plans to elevate experience.

·        Ensure immaculate facility readiness: mise en place, lounge furniture, shade/lighting/audio, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance work orders

·        Enforce in relation to Stewarding and Culinary, safety & sanitation standards; lead monthly food‑safety audits, chemical handling compliance, and incident reporting.

·        Execute marketing activations (sunset tastings, local DJ/steelpan, mixology classes); support content requests and VIP amenity deliveries.

·        Assure the well-being of the guests is met by assuring hydration drills, 90 minutes amenity offering…

·        Prepare daily/weekly reports (access sales, covers, average check whenever applicable, Stay Score, cost, labor, inventory variance) and brief leadership.

·        Participate in Front Office and Food & Beverage Meetings

·        Manages D2D inventory, requisition, PO, expenses, waste, depletion rate of OS&E, reorder & restocking

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

·  Secondary Vocational Education (EPI / MBO or equivalent); Hospitality Management certification
·  Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
·  Legal right to work in Aruba, including a valid work permit, Firma Liber (unrestricted authorization), or Aruban citizenship with a Dutch passport
