Position Statement

  This position is responsible for the efficient an effective onboarding of all new & converting hotels in Asia Pacific – GCM region for all Brands. An integral part of the APAC Brand team, this role works in partnership with respective regional and enterprise opening teams to ensure hotels that join our portfolio deliver their Brand promise and are set for long term success.

  Position Summary

 This role facilitates hotel set up to connect with Hilton systems, introduces & orientates hotel teams with Hilton tools and resources and ensures pre-opening/ new hotels are capable of maximizing hotel revenues, guest loyalty, brand standard compliance and delivering key brand initiatives.

Working directly with hotel leadership teams, this role is responsible for supporting hotels through critical & mandatory brand opening processes, whilst coordinating the timely completion of tasks and execution of workflow to meet targeted opening dates and achieve system, guest and commercial readiness.

This position will also collaborate with enterprise commercial services, distribution services, and above property teams including Technical Services, Management Company opening teams and brand team members to ensure resources and initiatives are delivered to regional needs.

Hotel assignments will predominantly be in the GCM region, whilst the right candidate will have some cross regional capability to support non-GCM hotels remotely, if needed, in addition to providing some additional administrative support for the team.

  Some of the key activities undertaken by this role will be:

·       Provides proactive guidance for pre-opening hotels. Acts as liaison between opening hotel team and Brand Support, managing tasks within the Hilton Openings and Transition tools, opening documents and the action steps associated with the initial set up phase of new hotels with Hilton commercial teams, Global Distribution teams, Hilton Reservations, and Hilton Honors.

·       Responsible for collecting, verifying, entering and submitting content from above property and hotel level team members for action in Hilton systems.

·       Conducting frequent hotel calls and participate in regional meetings/ calls; as well as coordinate and support in conducting interactive remote pre-opening webinar program

·       Responsible for providing ongoing customer support to hotels for all onboarding and maintenance related commercial/distribution requests, assists with escalations.

·       Assists with reviewing and auditing opening and transition processes and recommend improvements through innovation such as automation and AI (where feasible)

·       Daily activities include but not limited to monitoring workflows, managing and organizing timelines, crafting communications and receiving + managing reporting

·       Co-ordinate with global and regional teams for additional support, where needed.

·       Assist in communicating, implementation and compliance of Brand programs, procedures, processes, policies and initiatives

·       Occasional travel may be required to conduct onsite hotel pre-opening Brand meeting/orientation

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Tools

·       Good communication skills to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in written

·       Ability to develop presentations

·       Knowledge of Hilton enterprise tools such as OnQ PIM, Identity Management, Content Gateway, and Salesforce will be advantageous

 

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values as listed above and we are looking at a team member who has:

·       Minimum Education : College degree or any combination of education and work experience will be preferred

·       Minimum 2 years of hotel industry (or similar) experience, in a mid-management or supervisory level position

·       Fluent in written and verbal Mandarin/ business Chinese and English
