This is your chance to be part of our in-house Hilton Supply Management (HSM) team that supports our brands, owners, and operators! HSM has transformed how supply chain and procurement adds value to the hospitality industry, with 6 billion dollars of spend influence, over 2000 suppliers, and support of sustainability, supplier diversity, and responsible sourcing goals. As a Sr Manager OS&E Category Management, you will support the team in partnering with all our brands and helping influence and guide programs with unique and distinctive products and services.  On the Category Management team reporting to the Director, HSM OS&E, you will work on projects including controlling the purchasing functions for all products within the specified module across departments and all 24 brands. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office per week.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

·  Handle external relationships with suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
·  Implement and analyze performance indicators to ensure effectiveness, compliance to brand standards and specifications, risk, and liabilities.
·  Forecast, achieve, and document cost savings, cost containment and cost avoidance through negotiations, competitive bids, and product rationalization.
·  Develop expertise and implement strategies on all items within your scope of work.

How you will collaborate with others:

· 
Collaborate and with brands, operating units, and partner teams to agree on category priorities. Provide exceptional customer service to all internal partners.

What you will take ownership of: 

·  Develop, implement, and lead global programs and products to support our overall strategic vision and corporate sustainability initiatives across Hilton's 24 brands.
·  Implement strategies based on subject matter expertise, technical knowledge, job experience, and leadership qualities that demonstrate our value proposition and improve results.
·  Develop category strategy and manage the entire RFP process from conducting initial due diligence to finalizing contract negotiations in a matrixed environment with applicable brands and corporate departments. This includes validating supplier selection and performance through price benchmarking, auditing, risk assessment.
·  Develop new or streamline existing internal processes to promote process improvements for the Supply Management global enterprise

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

·  Five (5) years of sourcing and/or supply chain experience
·  Three (3) years of experience managing projects and contracts in a matrixed environment
·  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
·  Approximately 10% of travel

It would be useful if you have:

·  BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management or Hospitality
·  Seven (7) years of supply chain or sourcing experience
·  Hospitality experience
·  Experience with Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E)
·  CPSM, C.P.M., or PMP certificate(s)
·  Experience with Coupa sourcing and contract platform
