The Signia by Hilton San Jose is looking for their next Senior Food and Beverage Manager. The hotel features 805 elegant guest rooms and suites, many with sweeping views of the city or surrounding mountains. Guests can enjoy a range of dining options, including AJI Bar and Robata, known for its Japanese-Peruvian fusion, and The Grill on the Alley, a classic American steakhouse. The Fountain Restaurant offers fresh, locally inspired breakfast fare in a relaxed setting. The hotel boasts 65,000 square feet of event space—home to Silicon Valley’s largest hotel ballroom.

A Senior Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for assisting in the direction and organization of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

The ideal candidate will possess:

· 
5 years of previous food and beverage management experience

· 
At least 1 year of previous hotel experience

· 
Previous union management required

· 
Past oversight of a medium-high volume multi-outlet food and beverage operation

· 
Open and flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

· 
Past banquet leadership experience a plus

Wage: The yearly salary for this role is $85,000-$95,000 annually based on experience

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Food & Beverage Manager , you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and organization of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·  Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
·  Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
·  Develop and implement menus and food and beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director and the culinary team
·  Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
·  Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
·  Recruit, interview and train team members
