Offers “Hilton Worldwide”

New Hilton Worldwide

Senior Food and Beverage Buyer

  • Barcelona, SPAIN

Job description

We are building a new capability within Hilton Supply Management (HSM) and are looking for someone who is eager to grow with us. This role sits at the intersection of procurement, food strategy, and business performance, supporting a portfolio of over 50 hotels across Spain. You will play a key role in shaping how we scale, working closely with suppliers, chefs, and commercial teams to drive efficiency and deliver value to our partner hotels.
This is not a traditional, highly senior role. It is designed for someone ready to take the next step, build ownership, and develop within a fast-moving, corporate environment with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will contribute to category strategies, support sourcing initiatives, and help strengthen supplier partnerships while gaining exposure to how a global organization operates.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead and support sourcing projects, tenders, and supplier negotiations across Food and Beverage categories
• Analyze supplier pricing, contracts, and performance to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
• Collaborate with chefs, hotel teams, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Contribute to the development and optimization of supplier networks across Spain
• Use data and tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power Query to generate clear, actionable insights
• Support contract management, renewals, and supplier transitions

What We’re Looking For
We are less focused on finding a perfect match on paper and more interested in potential, curiosity, and a strong sense of ownership.
You may already have experience in procurement or supply chain, or come from hospitality, operations, finance, or consulting with strong analytical capabilities and an interest in commercial strategy.

Key attributes include:
-A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to improve processes and outcomes
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams
-An analytical approach with confidence working with data and drawing insights
-A sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to take initiative and follow through
-Interest in supplier management, sourcing, or commercial decision-making

Experience & Skills
-Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, hospitality, or a related field. Experience in Food and Beverage is beneficial but not required
-Exposure to sourcing, supplier management, or cost analysis
-Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets are essential. Tableau or Power Query experience is a plus
-Fluency in Spanish and English is required
-Degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Why Join Us?
-Hybrid working model with flexibility in how you manage your time
-Opportunity to be part of a small, high-impact team where contributions are visible and valued
-A dynamic environment with streamlined decision-making and limited bureaucracy
-The chance to help shape and grow a new area within Hilton
-Access to the Hilton Team Member Travel Program from day one

The Role Environment
This is not a traditional hotel-based role. It combines elements of strategy, operations, and analytics within a corporate setting that values agility and collaboration.
You will be part of a team where ideas are encouraged, decisions move quickly, and individuals are trusted to take ownership. It is an environment well suited to someone who wants to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact early in their career.
