Job description
As a Sales Representative , you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by analysing local market trends and competitor activity, and by developing long-term and repeat business strategies that position the hotel as a market leader.
What will I be doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Analysing local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
· Developing and maintaining customer accounts, and proactively seeking new accounts through local travel and networking
· Driving business to the hotel across all revenue streams, increasing both market and customer share
· Negotiating rates and packages with corporate clients in line with revenue strategy
· Preparing and managing corporate contracts in accordance with current business needs and pricing structures
· Collaborating with internal departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences and comprehensive sales strategies
· Attending sales events and representing the hotel professionally, as required
· Producing accurate, timely reports for the Director of Sales and senior leadership, including records of appointments, calls, and business leads
· Responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests
