DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose is adding a Room Attendant to their team who will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel.
Ideal candidate for this role will possess:
· Basic cleaning skills.
· Hotel Housekeeping experience is a plus.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. (Shifts will vary based on business needs)
Hourly Rate $21.36 for the first 90 days after which it will be $26.70
What will I be doing?
· Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
· Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays.
· Greet guests in a friendly manner.
· Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
· Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
· Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed.
· Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.
· Support room attendants by removing linen and trash from their carts and working with them throughout the day by ensuring they have the supplies needed to do their job.
