The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Revenue Manager to join their leadership team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms ( to include cottages and villas ), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, food truck, marketplace and ice cream shop.

In this role as Revenue Manager, you will strategically manage group and transient business thresholds to optimize demand and availability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with revenue management systems, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. As a key member of the revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies, managing inventory, and analyzing market trends to drive profitability and growth.  

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

·  Forecasting & Pricing Strategies: Develop and implement accurate forecasts, pricing strategies, and inventory controls to maximize revenue.
·  Inventory Management: Oversee group and transient inventory controls to ensure optimal pricing, availability, and demand management.
·  Revenue Optimization: Monitor and adjust pricing and availability based on market demand, competitor pricing, and historical data to achieve optimal revenue outcomes.
·  Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand shifts to make strategic recommendations and adjustments.
·  Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Front Office, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
·  Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular performance reports, highlighting key revenue metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
·  System Management: Utilize Hilton systems (IdeaS/OnQ PMS, OnQ Front Desk, Delphi/FDC, and FMS) to manage and monitor inventory, rates, and booking patterns.
·  Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term business planning by providing data-driven insights and recommendations based on market trends and forecasts.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
