GALLERYone Doubletree Suites by Hilton is looking to welcome a Restaurant Supervisor to join the team!
Our hotel is on the intracoastal waterway, less than a five-minute walk from Galleria Fort Lauderdale. The beach is a half mile east and it's a five-mile drive to conventions and cruises at Port Everglades. We have 231 rooms, our VUE PATIO BAR & GRILL, which is outdoor, poolside and if it rains, we have our GALLERY lounge, which is open from 5:00pm-11:00pm nightly. Join us at VUE on the water, for a contemporary cuisine from the hours of 6:30am-10:00pm.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years' experience as a restaurant supervisor. Experience in Banquets, F&B is preferred. This is a hybrid role, where the candidate would work as a Banquet Captain during events and Restaurant Supervisor. Candidate should be able to work varying shifts.
Shift Pattern: Full Availability and Flexibility for all shifts (AM/MID/PM/Overnight) (Weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed)
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour (plus service charge for worked Banquet events.)

What will I be doing?
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
· Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
· Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
· Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
· Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
· Oversee Banquet events
