Job description
Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the reservations team. This role ensures seamless booking experiences for our guests while maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel reservations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservations Management:
· Supervise and coordinate the reservations team to ensure efficient handling of guest bookings.
· Manage room availability, pricing strategies, and promotions in alignment with revenue management policies.
· Handle VIP and special requests, ensuring personalized experiences for high-profile guests.
· Maintain accurate records of bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
Guest Relations & Service Excellence:
· Provide prompt and professional assistance to guests via email, phone, and online booking platforms.
· Ensure all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed efficiently and courteously.
· Work closely with the Front Office and Sales teams to facilitate seamless guest experiences.
Revenue & Yield Management:
· Assist in implementing revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue.
· Monitor booking trends and market conditions to recommend pricing adjustments.
· Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional offers and packages.
Team Leadership & Training:
· Support and mentor the reservations team, ensuring high service standards.
· Conduct training sessions on reservation systems, guest communication, and revenue optimization.
· Maintain a positive and productive work environment within the team.
System & Process Management:
· Ensure all reservations are accurately entered into the Property Management System (PMS).
· Generate and analyze reports on occupancy, revenue, and market trends.
· Maintain reservation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a reservations role within a luxury hotel or resort.
· Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
