On the Global Cloud Platforms team reporting to Director of Solutions Architecture, you will support projects including Cloud Resiliency, Data Platform Migrations, DataLake, and more.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

·  Contribute to a project pipeline, coordinate with business and application teams on our cloud patterns, and build solutions using infrastructure as code tools (IAC) and processes and other popular cloud tools
·  Find opportunities for infrastructure automation, improvements in configuration management, enhancements to monitoring, and build solutions for the complex cloud infrastructure challenges
·  Support the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, including escalation support for operations and support teams, participate in on-call rotations, and work alongside other engineering teams to ensure understanding to Hilton standards and processes
·  Create detailed engineering documentation using the Atlassian suite tools and use ServiceNow to engage production ITSM processes

How you will collaborate with others:

·  Immersion in our Agile based team workflows that occur twice weekly to ensure you have support and knowledge to perform at a high level
·  Close interaction with other collaborative teams such as DevOps, Network, and Security
·  Immersion in targeted application team stand-ups that provide controlled task flows

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

·  Deliverable items within the Enterprise Architecture Data Team domain, including Airflow and Datalake ingestion
·  Deliverable items within our own Cloud Solutions team domain, including Instance Scheduler

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

·  Professional work experience in Technology or related field
·  Work experience in Cloud technologies
·  Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools and a proficiency in scripting (shell, Python)
·  This is a hybrid role and is required to be near our Memphis office location
·  Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

·  Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 2+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 4+ years of Technology related experience
·  Two (2) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
·  Two (2) + years of work experience in Cloud
·  Industry experience of
·  AWS Components (IAM, Lambda, S3, EKS, SQS, and SNS)
·  Open-source Cloud Provisioning tools (Terraform, Vault)
·  Industry pipeline – CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Gitlab)
