As Marketing coordinator, your role is pivotal in supporting the Marketing Manager and the broader team in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial profitability, and elevating the Hilton Aruba brand.

What will I be doing?

As Marketing Coordinator, you will fully support, from administrative, customer service, and sale lead development
perspectives, the Sales team to develop future and repeat business.

·  Administrative Support:

•          Assist with managing calendars, processing invoices, and coordinating correspondence (emails, phone calls, mail).

•          Prepare booking reports, contracts, proposals, and client call summaries.

•          Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and note taking.

·  Marketing and Promotions:

•          Support the development and implementation of promotional activities, marketing channels, and event-specific marketing materials.

•          Manage and update the hotel's presence on Hilton-branded websites and social media platforms.

•          Collaborate with local media outlets, third-party partners, and official bodies to strengthen professional relationships.

•          Digital media support with creation of social media video / photo content

·  Brand Awareness:

•          Communicate the unique amenities and benefits of Hilton Aruba, including dining experiences, events, and refurbishments, to target audiences.

•          Develop and maintain a media and marketing contact database for effective outreach.

·  Team Collaboration:

•          Work proactively with hotel departments to address business challenges and explore promotional opportunities.

•          Assist in planning, developing, and executing public relations and community engagement programs.

·  Budget Management:

•          Support the team in managing marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

- High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets
- Excellent organizational and administration skills

·  Secondary Vocational Education (EPI / MBO or equivalent); Hospitality Management certification
·  Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
·  Legal right to work in Aruba, including a valid work permit, Firma Liber (unrestricted authorization), or Aruban citizenship with a Dutch passport

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

·  Previous experience in a sales role
·  Relevant degree, in a sales or business discipline, from an academic institution
·  Positive attitude and good communication skills
·  Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
·  Excellent grooming standards
·  Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
·  Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
·  Experience in a marketing role with a proven track record to close a sale
